Best of Decaturish 2025 Dance Studio
Dance Foundry is honored to have been voted Best Dance Studio by readers of Decaturish Ink in the 2025 Best Of Decaturish competition! We are grateful for the support of our community and look forward to continuing to provide excellent dance education and experiences for all our students.
School Calendar 2025-2026
August
- Classes Start: August 11, 2025
- Nutcracker Auditions Ballet Grades 7 & up: August 16, 2025 - 11:45-1:30 pm
- Nutcracker Rehearsals Begin: August 18, 2025. Levels Primary to Advanced can participate in Nutcracker.
September
- Labor Day weekend: No Classes (August 30 to September 1, 2025)
- Fall Break: No Classes (September 22rd to 28th, 2025)
October
- Spook-a-Thon: No Classes (October 18th, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm)
November
- Thanksgiving: No Classes (November 24 to 30th, 2025)
December
- RAD Exam Fees are Due: December 6, 2025
- Spring Show Auditions: December 6, 2025
- Last Day of Class: Saturday, December 13th, 2025
- Winter Holidays: December 14, 2025 - January 6, 2025
- The Nutcracker: Clara’s Winter Dream — Tech/Dress Rehearsal: December 13th, 2025. Specific schedule will be sent out. Similar to last year's rehearsal schedule.
- The Nutcracker: Clara’s Winter Dream — Performances: December 13-14th, 2025
January
- Classes Start: Wednesday, January 7, 2025
- Spring Show Rehearsals start: January 10th, 2026
- Martin Luther King Day: No Class (January 17-19th, 2026)
February
- Presidents' Day: We DO have classes.
March & April
- RAD Exams: Specific dates TBA (Some years exams may be scheduled in April.)
- Spring Show Performance: TBA. (This is not the annual recital.) Invited students only. Grades Primary through Advanced.
- Spring Break: No Classes (April 4th to 12th, 2025)
May
- Classes end: Friday, May 22rd, 2026
June
- Tech and Dress Rehearsal for Recital: May 28 to 30th, 2026
- Annual Recital Performance: May 30st, 2026. Recital is for all students who take classes at Dance Foundry.
